    CHAIR

I enjoy living in the Queens Road community and have lived here for 40 years. I am a local councillor on Keynsham Town Council, Chair of Broadlands School Council and involved with St Francis Church.

I am involved with Keynsham Community Hub because I have seen the impact that the groups who use the building can have on people’s lives.

    VICE CHAIR

As a founding member of Keynsham Community Hub, it has been a privilege to witness the growth of the centre. Having an independent community hub run by local people has made a real difference to quality of life in Keynsham South. I have been involved in the Keynsham community for most of my life, and enjoy supporting projects in my community.

    TREASURER

I have been involved Keynsham Community Hub for many years. As Treasurer, I am aware of how the Hub has managed to do so much with very little funding. I am also impressed with the work so many volunteers do to help the centre thrive.

Whilst I do have a busy job in finance and project management, I am pleased to give some of my spare time to supporting Keynsham Community Hub.

I believe that Keynsham Community Hub is a hugely important community project in my ward of Keynsham South. It provides excellent support for our local families, and for people of all ages. The contribution Keynsham Community Hub made to the community during COVID was really beneficial, and it's wonderful to see the charity continue to thrive.

I am a BANES and Keynsham Town Council Councillor, and I am involved in many aspects of life in the Keynsham community.

I enjoy being involved with Keynsham Community Hub as it makes a difference to the people I meet in the local area. I have been able to bring my practical skills to the Board of Trustees, and I advise on repair and maintenance. As one of the younger Trustees, I can relate to the needs of younger people in the local community.

I moved to Queens Road only a few years ago, and was keen to support the local community. As the mother of a young child, I am aware of how important the community is to supporting parents. I was pleased to help with the launch of the ‘Breakfast & Babies’ group, which is doing so much to support mums of babies 0 – 6 months.

I became a trustee of Keynsham Community Hub because I am passionate about making a positive difference in the local area, supporting initiatives that bring people together and help create a stronger, more connected community.

I have been living in Keynsham since 2003, and have witnessed many changes over the years. I spent most of my time living on a boat at Keynhsam Marina before moving to the Meadows.

I have worked in various roles, mainly in care and retail, and I am now currently working in local care supporting my community. I am also involved in local craft groups, the Churches Together programme, and I enjoy playing the guitar at St Dunstan’s.

Having grown up in Queens Road, I used to wonder what actually went on at Community at 67 (the old name for Keynsham Community Hub) – was it an older person’s centre or for people aged 67?!? Later, when I became involved, I was amazed at all the different activities that Keynsham Community Hub provides to such a wide range of age groups. Like Dan, I am also in my 20s, and so can provide input on projects that might appeal to my age group.
